He was predeceased by: his parents, James Sigret Morgan and Roxanne Hazel Medford Morgan; his grandson Seth Morgan; and his siblings, Frances Burris, Alvin, Carl and James Morgan, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Nadine Gilbert Morgan; his children, Tina Dillingham (Duane), Joann Morgan and Steve Morgan (Sheryl); and his grandchildren, Lauren Sword (Joe), Heather Looper (Drake), Blake Morgan and Savana Morgan.
