It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Elkin III of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Elkin II and Marjorie Seay Snider; and his wife Denise Elkin. He is survived by: his children, Brandon Elkin, Brittney Elkin of Asheville and Angela Parton (Marcus) of Asheville; his brother Eric Elkin of Asheville; and his grandchildren, Tykeem Jones, Joshua Parton, Ethan Parton and Gracie Parton.
