He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Douglas Hill and Lois Sizemore Hill. He is survived by: his wife Carol Shivers Hill; his children, Eric Gamal Ashemore, John Wynton Hill, James Franklin Ashemore (Katherine) of Newport News, VA and Chastity Samara Horton (Vince); and his stepdaughters, Tamekia Miller Madden (David) of Asheville and Britney Leigh Miller of Asheville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
