He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert DeVond Maney, Sr. and Katherine Ann Atkins Maney; and his brother Robert D. "Butch" Maney, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Kristel Kurtz of Boston; his son-in-law Josef Kurtz; and his grandsons, Colin and Nolan Kurtz.
