He is survived by: his mother Gloria Ann Burgin Thompson; his children, John H. Thompson, III (JT) and Sherese Solomon; his siblings, Anthony Thompson, Myron Keith Thompson and Shawn Thompson; his caregiver Sheila Denice Simpson; and his friend Fenetta Bryant. He is also survived by several nephews; other relatives and friends.
