He is survived by: his son Herbert Dennis Buckner, Sr. (Anna Leah Hendrix Buckner); his wife Patricia Ann Payne Buckner; his children, Kenneth W. Buckner (Carol H. Buckner) of Cary, NC and Jodi M. Buckner of Greensboro, NC.; his grandchildren, Stephen Buckner and Mary Buckner of Cary, NC.; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Taylor (Thomas Turner) of Hampstead, NC and Cathryn Turner of Cary, NC.
