She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bergin Gardin and Edith Cairnes Gardin; and her siblings, Elizabeth Ann Gardin Sparks and Roger Bergin Gardin. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Gardin of Asheville, NC and Abbygail Thornton (Steve) of Port Orange, FL; her stepsister Sherry Johnson of Flatrock, NC; her nieces, Mickey Wilson and Angela Taylor (Paul) of Asheville; and her nephew Joseph Sparks of Hendersonville, NC. She is also survived by grand-nephews, and great and grand-nieces.
