He was predeceased by: his father Garland Eugene Maultsby; his brothers, Garland Eugene and James Alexander; and his niece Ruth Allison Nardi. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jane Utt Maultsby; his children, Ken Maultsby Jr. (Diana) of Leicester, NC and Rebecca Maultsby Brown (Gary) of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Ruth Coleman Best of Hampstead, NC and Ellen "Chickie" Maultsby Williams (John) of Wilmington, NC; and his grandchildren, Matthew Ames Maultsby (Amanda) of Asheville, NC, Rachel Brown Kincaid (Christopher) of Homer, AK, Kathryn Maultsby Madison (David) of Asheville, NC, C. Tyler Brown of Brooklyn, NY, Drew Harrell (Cory) of Sacramento, CA and Cara Stout (Josh) of Jonesborough, TN.. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
