With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lillian Baker of Asheville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillian Baker to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pink Murphy and Ellen Butner Murphy; her children, Jerry Baker and Jeanna Page; her siblings, Sadie Fortner, Jake, Jack, Cecil, Harley, Lonas, Tommy and Junior Murphy; her grandson Matthew Baker; and her husband Eugene Baker.
She is survived by: her sister Shirley Winters of Crabtree Creek; her grandson Michael Page (Lara) of Fairview, NC; her great grandchildren, Christopher Page (Abbie) of Fairview, NC and Chloe Page of Fairview, NC; her great great grandchild Emmy Page; her sister-in-law Milidene Baker Wilson of Burnsville, NC; her son-in-law Jimmy Page of Asheville; her caregiver Joyce Mathis; Dan Carter (Donna). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Holcombe Brothers Email (501 E Main St, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at the Bakers Creek Cemetery Bakers Creek Cemetery.
