She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Duncan and Irene Harkins Duncan; her husband E. Frank Davis, Jr.; her son Larry R. Davis; her brother Jim Duncan; her nephew David Duncan; and her great grandchild Davis Lee Slechter.
She is survived by: her children, John M. Davis (Paige) of Arden and Lisa Davis Slechter (Ken) of Fletcher; her grandsons, Matt Slechter (Annie) of Savannah, GA, Scott Slechter (Jennifer) of Asheville and Zeke Davis of Asheville; and her great grandchildren, Parker Slechter of Asheville and Brooks Slechter of Asheville. She is also survived by five nieces and many extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at the Sky View Memorial Park (1610 Tunnel Rd, Asheville, NC 28805).
