She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bowman of Tyron, NC and Carrie Bowman of Newberry, SC.; her husband Lemuel Smith of Sumter, SC.; her sisters, Ruth Bowman and Maggie Bowman; and her children, Junior Smith, Charles Smith, Tommy Smith, Roy Smith, Danny Smith and Patricia Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Walter E. Smith of Asheville, NC, Kenny L Smith (Pamela) of Memphis, TN and Kassandra A. Smith of Asheville, NC; and her nieces, Doris Davis and Shirley Davis. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
