He is survived by: his daughters, Elham (Hamid) of Asheville, NC, Hengameh (Nima) of Asheville, NC, Emilia of Asheville, NC and Shirin (Amos); his sister Zarangiz Ebrahimnejad; his grandchildren, Partia, Atrina, Alborz, Anita, Roxana, Alex and Ariana; and his former wife Zahra Gharebaghi.
