It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Gilmore of Asheville, North Carolina, born in Easley, South Carolina, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leathett Blassingame and Frank Jackson; her husband William J. Gilmore, Jr.; her son Daryl L. Gilmore; and her siblings, William Franklin Jackson, Felton Jackson, Sr. and Malona Jackson Ryans.
She is survived by: her children, Marguerite Nivens, William T. Gilmore and Julian P. Gilmore. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
