He was predeceased by: his father W. B. Freeman; his brother Benjamin Freeman; and his son Brandon Freeman. He is survived by: his wife Tammera Freeman; his mother Nina Freeman; his siblings, Pansy Meadows, Geraldine "Deanie" Jackson and Larry Freeman; and his children, Jonathan Freeman, Damion Freeman, Isabella Freeman, Amelia Freeman, Brianna Dockery, Drelynd Dockery, Elijah Dockery, Cashton Dockery, Emily Reynolds, Ila Reynolds, Mya Reynolds and Laken Freeman (Abbott).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help pay funeral expenses.
