She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tatham and Victoria Tatham; her husband James Lee Warrick; her daughter Jan Warrick; and her siblings, Olin, Raymon Tatham, Nettie Broyles and Bettie Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marque Goodrich (Tom) of Asheville and Paula Stegall (David) of Fairview; her grandchildren, Marian Rapp (Andrew) of Denver, CO, Elise Karpinski of Nashville, TN and Jared Stegall (Alex) of Silver Spring, MD; and her great grandchildren, Jack Karpinski, Nalia Karpinski and Marley Rapp.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Chapel Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704).
Mary Lou loved flowers and they will be appreciated or donations can be made to Long Shoals Baptist Church, 661 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704.
