She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore James Creasman and Janie Stepp Creasman; her brothers, Hardy Creasman, Theodore Creasman and Roy Creasman; her grandson Sean Penley; and her former husband Don Penley.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Rogers (Gary) of Asheville, NC and Mike Penley of Alexander, NC; her sisters, Ruth Taylor of Asheville, NC and Mabel Moore of Old Fort, NC; her grandchildren, Taylor Black (Josh), Jamie Lindsey (Jennifer) of Asheville, NC and Jarrett Lindsey (Crystal) of Asheville, NC; her great grandchildren, Keagan Lindsey of New York, NY, Dorothy Penley of Canton, NC, Emmaline Durkovic (Ethan) of Asheville, NC and Trinity Rogers of Asheville, NC; and her close friends, Mary Meadows of Asheville, NC and Norma Burleson of Black Mountain, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
