She is survived by: her husband Nathaniel Jones of Asheville; her children, Patricia Simuel Wilson of Hickory, Henry Marvels of Virginia and Walter Marvels (Tanyana) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Camree Marvels, Jasmine Marvels, De'Ja Marvels, Paul Wright, Shankita Wilson, Garfield Wilson and Walter Wilson; her cousin Dale Scott; and her close friends, Ruth Watson, Lucille Tobe, Vivian Jones and Thomasina Hines. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
