She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stuart and Lorraine Ledbetter Stuart. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Souther (Darrell), Donna Redmon and Trina Rumbough; her siblings, Linda Pruitt, Jerry Stuart (Libby) and Jimmy Stuart (Charlene); and her grandchildren, David Hamlin (Krissy), Joshua Redmon, Brittany Redmon, Cortney Karnezis, Tonya Lee, Mike Lee, Christopher Rumbough and Trevor Rumbough.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Green Hills Cemetery (25 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806).
