It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Ann Maynard (Asheville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her fiancé Richard Foster; her parents, Derion Lee "D. L." Maynard and Winnie Lou Wilson Maynard; her son Richard Foster; her siblings, Mary Francis Maynard and Dennis Lee Maynard; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Gosnell and Larry Wallen.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Gardner (Candace Rice), Kevin Gardner (Myranda Sawyer), Michelle Morris (Chris), Anthony Gardner (Jennifer Metcalf) and Elizabeth Foster; and her siblings, Regina Gosnell, Carol Maynard, Sandra Gardner (Jackie) and Darryl Maynard (Pam). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
