She was predeceased by: her father Clifford Lyon Dickson. She is survived by: her husband John White; her siblings, Wesley Dickson (Brevard), Connie King (Morganton) and Elizabeth Pedersen (Bryson City); and her family Therapy. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Doctors without Borders, National Resources Defense Council, and the International Campaign to Rescue Tibet.
