He was predeceased by: his parents, James Maxwell and Mildred Ketchie Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Doris Greene Chandler; his daughters, Julie C. Gangemi (Brian) of Weaverville and Molly C. Gaines of Black Mountain; his grandchildren, Michael W. Crabb (Jacque), Jessie McLintock, Scott D. Polasky (Tracy), Philip J. Gangemi (Stacy), P. F. "Skipper" Gangemi (Kara) and Julie P. Allen; and his great grandchildren, Reagan Crabb, Sammie Gangemi, Sophia Gangemi, Nico Gangemi, Nikki Gangemi, Logan Polasky, Luke Allen and Zach Allen.
The family requests that memorials be made to the great-grandchildren of Philip Chandler for their future education (memorials may be sent in care of Doris Chandler, 556 Barnardsville Hwy, Weaverville, NC 28787), or to a charity of your choice.
