He is survived by: his father Ralph Charles Hammond Sr. of Burnsville, NC; his sisters, Sarah Ann Rebecca Garland (John), Allison Gaye Hammond of Asheville, NC and Madalyn Victoria Rogers (David) of Burnsville, NC; his nieces and nephews, Shaun Gilbert, Anaami, Bani, Kabir DeVante, Aryah McCanless Hammond, Jessica Pressley (Will), Brianna Rogers, Tobias Rogers and Katrina Rogers; his great-niece Elizabeth; his great-nephew Will; his nieces and nephews, Ivan and Rie Diaz; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Akiko, Keiji, James and Christine Duffy; Kahlan, Ian, Chip, Kim Silver (family: Bruce Nicholson, Eric Thrasher, Jesse, Brandy McBride) and Ryan.
