It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Carl of Asheville, North Carolina, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carl and Gladys Hart Carl; his siblings, Phyllis Cameron, Joyce Failing, Sandy Williams, Charles and Ted Carl; and his brother-in-law Tom Pierce.

He is survived by: his wife Judi Buller Carl; his sister Judi Carwile (Jerry) of California; and his siblings-in-law, Sandi Ott (Roy) of Washington, Carole Pierce of South Dakota, Rob Buller (Gail) of California and Hank Verstraete (Pauline) of California. He is also survived by 31 nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Due to allergies, the family respectfully requests that no flowers be sent, but plants and dish gardens are welcomed.
