We are sad to announce that, on July 14, 2023, at the age of 92, Richard Sluder (Asheville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cariel Oscar Sluder and Icie Fore Sluder. He is survived by: his wife June Higdon Sluder; his children, Shirley Cunliffe (Hillis) and Richard Sluder, Jr. (Rick); his grandchildren, Mike Cunliffe (Sara), Amy Smith (Will), Cody Sluder, Jamie Sluder and Summer Sluder (Tatum); and his great grandchildren, Ben Smith, Jack Smith and Ulysses Sluder.

Flowers are appreciated or donations may be made to a charity of one's choice in Richard's honor.
