With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Lee (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who passed away on June 5, 2024 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Lee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hosea Eugene Watford and Barbara JoAnn Cowart Watford; and her brother William "Buddy" Watford. She is survived by: her wife Bonnie Strum; her sons, Christopher Eugene Lee (Laura) and Jesse William Lee (Kristine); her stepchildren, Charles and Phyllis Strum; her grandson Timothy Roland Lee; her sister Mary Lynn MacFarlane (Jeff); her niece Jenna MacFarlane; her nephew Ryan MacFarlane; and her pets, Benji and Chip. She is also survived by mother and grandmother, always putting her family.
