He was predeceased by: his parent Atlas Rice; his wife Barbara Jean "June" Shelton Rice; and his siblings, Eldridge Rice (late Pat) and Barbara Jean Rice. He is survived by: his sister Judy Randall (Bobby) of Weaverville, NC; his nieces, Angela Anderson (Chris) and Marsha Holbrook (Robert); his great-nephew Dalton; his great-nieces, Daylyn, Ryley and Brinkley; and his close friends, Buddy and Brenda Cook.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Madison Funeral Services (1750 NC-213, Marshall, NC 28753). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
