It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Ann Cauble of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Burgess and Alma Moore Burgess. She is survived by: her sons, Alfred Layfayette "Butch" Cauble, Jr. of Mars Hill, Frank Edward "Eddie" Cauble of Asheville and Christopher Steven "Chris" Cauble of Wilmington; her grandchildren, Amanda, Christy, Anna, Ashley and Frank; and her great grandchildren, Alexxis, Kiley, Logan, Neveah, Jordan and Nolan.
