It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rodney Melton of Asheville, North Carolina, born in Lattimore, North Carolina, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Worth, Reba Melton, Jimmy and Ruth Blanton. He is survived by: his children, Jeb and Ruby of Asheville; his parents, Tommy Melton and Cindy Melton of Lattimore; his brother Jeff Melton; his sister-in-law Jennifer; his niece Emma; his nephew Bryce of Boiling Springs; and the mother of his children Dava Allen Melton of Asheville. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, and community of friends.
