He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Silvers and Ruby Picklesimer Silvers; his wife Joan Baker Silvers; and his grandson Noah Silvers. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Ronald Silvers and Pamela Sprinkle; his grandchildren, Jessica Honeycutt (Nathan) and Nathan Troutman (Kristin); his great grandchildren, Haley and Rylee; and his sister Rose Havenite. He is also survived by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Grace Baptist Church, 718 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806.
