He is survived by: his wife Pat McAninch; his children, Tamara Miller (Bobby) of Bakersville, Jason McAninch of Alexander, Brad Carr (Derrick) of Woodfin and Caleb McAninch (Reta) of Asheville; his granddaughter Jennifer Miller of Leicester; his stepmother Myrtle Jones; Doug and Pat Robinson. He is also survived by five brothers; four sisters; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
