He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Andy Brown and Dorthey Bailey Brown; his brothers, Bob and Ray; his daughter Jo Ann Brown; and his great grandchild Brayden Meece.
He is survived by: his sister Ruby Anne of Mobile, Alabama.; his wife MaryEllen Temple of Asheville, NC; and his children, Roy Ledford of Weaverville, NC and Sherri Lynne Mitchell of Mt. Carmel, TN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and his extended family of brothers, sisters-in-law and nieces & nephews.
