She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Penley; her daughter Pamela Ann; her parents, James Virgil and Annie Mae Bowlin Parker; and her siblings, Vergie Parker Stubbs, Frances Parker Stubbs, Pauline Parker, Barbara Parker Rogers, Peggy Parker Powell, James Virgil Parker, Jr., Porter Parker, George Parker and Clarence Parker.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Penley Watts; her son-in-law John A. Watts; and her grandson Andrew Parker Watts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (1056 Riceville Road, Asheville, NC 28805). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, February 12th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the same location.
