Samuel Garren Burgin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Garren Burgin of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clifton Burgin and Mary Catherine Brown Burgin; and his sister Bertha Ann Worley. He is survived by: his wife Rachel Mae Franklin Burgin; his children, Cynthia Burgin Hammond (Hugh) and Robert Garren Burgin (Catherine); his grandsons, Nathan Hammond, Devin Hammond and Pierce Burgin; and his great grandchildren, Adelyn and Ellarie Hammond. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
