Smathers; his siblings, Louis (Nanda) of Fair Haven, NY, Lawrence of Jacksonville, FL, Susan Antenozzi (Richard) of Rochester, NY and Barbara McCutchen of Asheville; his stepdaughter Kaylyn Groves (Richard) of Chattanooga, TN; his stepgrandchildren, Mary-Alice and Maxwell Groves of Chattanooga, TN; his aunt Bessie Speciale of Rochester, NY; and his uncle Donald Pero of Rochester, NY. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
