He was predeceased by: his fathers, Earl Wilson and Samuel; and his great-grandparent Big Tom. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Angel Wilson; his daughters, Debra Jones of Weaverville, NC and Dawn Wilson of Wilmington, NC; his siblings, Tom Wilson (Betty) of Hendersonville, NC, Marilyn Hughes of Weaverville, NC, Jo Richards of Youngsville, NC and Christina Anglin of Engelwood, FL; his granddaughter Alyssa Jones of Weaverville, NC; and his brother-in-law Claburn Angel of Burnsville, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of flowers, he had requested donations be made to his favorite charities: Habitat for Humanity, First Baptist Church of Weaverville and The Children's Home of Greensboro.
