It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sheila Hicks (Asheville, North Carolina), born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parent Bobbie Jean Hicks; her daughter Ayla Flythe; and her brother Maurice Simmons. She is survived by : her children, Satable Hicks (Kelsey), Demarcus Flythe (Gabrielle), Kentrail Hicks (Jasmine) and Travis Hicks (Shanice); and her siblings, Tisheia Hicks (Kenny), Kevin Hicks (Terrika) and Jermaine Hicks (April). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter on the way; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved family members.
