It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Owen (Asheville, North Carolina), who passed away on March 12, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Melvin Rice; her husband Jimmy Dale Owen; her siblings, Coy Rice and Daphne Waddell; and her nephew Toby Owen.
She is survived by: her daughter Terri Norton; her grandsons, Christian and Zechariah; her siblings-in-law, Rex Owen and Mary Rice; her niece Carla West; and her nephew Keith Waddell (family: Steve Waddell, Kevin Rice, Darren Owen). She is also survived by his family, Steve Waddell and his family.
