He was predeceased by: his mother Doris Winston of Asheville. He is survived by: his son David (Hope) of Hickory; his sister Jean Bishop (Doug) of Marion; his nephew Jeremiah Bishop (Tabitha) of Boiling Springs, SC; his niece Moleta Bishop of Marion; his great-niece Grace Bishop; and his great-nephews, Aiden and Jackson Bishop.
