We are sad to announce that, on July 2, 2025, at the age of 51, Terry Luther Lanning (Asheville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Terry departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Terry. Though Terry may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Adam Lanning; and her father Michael Luther. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Lanning; her sons, Timothy of Asheville, NC and Dalton of Fort Bragg, NC.; her mother Sadie Bagwell; her siblings, Michael Bartrum and Kim Dellinger; and her pet Momo. She is also survived by numerous family members, including nieces, nephews and in-laws, aunts and uncles.
