He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Cosby Batte and Benjamin Leslie Batte; and his siblings, Margaret Batte Hamilton and Leslie Howard Batte. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay "Micki" Batte; his children, Gregory Thomas Batte (Cindy Batte) and Ann Marie Batte Clayton (Tommy Clayton); his stepdaughter Virginia Brockmiller; his sister-in-law Betty Sakson; his grandchildren, Matt, Jesse, Gregory Batte, Megan Gilbreath, Ryan Byerly, Kiersten Moore and Kaylyn Richards; and his nieces, Beth Giankouros, Pat Cherry and Sarah Tomlin. He is also survived by wives and husbands, and six great-grandchildren.
