As we bid Timothy Eugene farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Timothy Eugene is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Reid and Devisadero Reid; and his significant other Barbara Baker Reid. He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Reid Snelson (Brad); his grandchildren, Chesney, Savannah, Bradshaw and True Snelson; and his sisters, Tobey Reid Livingstone (Joe) and Anne Reid Hunt (Peter).
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home - Patton Ave. (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Green Hills Cemetery (25 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806).
