She was predeceased by: her parents, Jarvis Hunter and Katherine Conard Hunter; her husband Milas West, Sr.; and her children, Ruby Evelyn "Evie" Ledford and Eldon Lee "Tuby" Correll.
She is survived by: her daughter Leona West; and her siblings, Vonetta Stillwell and Douglas Hunter. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
