He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Kendall Dodgen and Russell Lee Gordon; and his former wife Patricia Gordon Burke. He is survived by: his wife Worth Brombacher Gordon; his children, William "Billy" Gordon (Katharine) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Kathryn Gordon Warmerdam (Kees) of Rotterdam, Netherlands.; his stepsons, Sam Haverstick (Natasha) of Floyd County, IN and Ben Haverstick (Amy) of Harbor Springs, MI.; his grandchildren, Aukje, Bas, Abigail, Camie, Phoebe, Charlie, Jack, Alex and Walker; his sister Sallie Page; and his niece Kendall Page of Tryon.
