He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. (Lillian Williams Kirkpatrick) and Bill; his wife Ann Croom Kirkpatrick; and his sister Dorothy K. Trowell. He is survived by: his children, William W. Jr. (Tricia), Jim and Lisa (Kenn); his grandchildren, Emma and William; and his stepgrandchildren, Chris and Alex Jacobine.
