He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taft Evans, Sr. and Alda Vearl Hollifield Evans; his daughter Cynthia Lynn Evans Green; and his siblings, Gerald Evans and Shelby Jean Evans.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Ann Barker (Don) and Sherri Gwen Evans. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
