He was predeceased by: his sister Elizabeth "Betty" Waas David-Feener. He is survived by: his wife Lane Longino Waas; his grandchildren, Morgan Waas, William "Will" Cooper Waas, Wilder McCullough, Katharine Hilburn, Caroline, Sean DeSantis, Caly Stewart of Fairleigh Stewart, C. L and Fristoe; his great grandchildren, Nora DeSantis and Henry DeSantis; his daughter Victoria "Vicki" Waas Normoyle; and his brother Glyndon "Glyn" Heidt Waas Jr..
