He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wilkie and Doniva Dalton Wilkie; and his siblings, Elfrida Jones, Barbara Gosnell and Bruce Wilkie.
He is survived by: his wife Lorene Rhodes Wilkie of Fletcher; his children, Sophia Fowler (Tony), Michele King (Steve), William Edward (Eddie) of Fletcher and Jeff Wilkie (Shawna) of Fletcher; his grandchildren, Nicholas Fowler (Cara), Jennifer Maxwell (Tye), Krystofer King, Kelly King, Roger King (Sonya), Kacie Young (Jason), Chandler Wilkie, Anna Wilkie, Lauren Wilkie, Mary Grace Wilkie, Dylan Wilkie (Shelby), Jaika Hill (Daniel) and Shakinley Garren (Chandler); his great grandchildren, Raylyn Wilkie, Aria Wilkie, Navy Wilkie, Colton Hill, Jenson Hill, Tallon Hill, Lawson Hill, Paisley Garren and Waylon Maxwell; and his siblings, Doug Wilkie of Hendersonville, Virginia Jones (Calvin) of Zirconia and Wanda Hunt of Hendersonville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
