Wilma Wright Thorpe Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilma Wright Thorpe (Asheville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 14, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Victoria Harrell; and her husband Bennett Terry Thorpe. She is survived by: her children, Penelope Thorpe Hemphill (Ray Hemphill), Rilla Thorpe Wisor (Clifford Wisor), Daniel Terry Thorpe (Bobbie Thorpe) and Lucinda Thorpe; and her niece Diana Rincon (Jack Rincon). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the International Foreign Mission Board – Lottie Moon Campaign.
