It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Bannerman of Atkinson, North Carolina, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his son Harvey Bannerman, Jr.; his grandchildren, Harvey Bannerman, III and Jamel; and his siblings, Audrey Colvin Dobbin, Lugene Henry, Jimmie Colvin, Sylvester Bernard Colvin, Lawrence Colvin, Eugene Colvin and Alonza "Al" Colvin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the New Zion A. M. E Church (7960 Slocum Trail, Atkinson, NC 28421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
