He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Clifton "Ben" Corbett and Dora Ludlam Corbett; and his nephews, Freddy Simpson and Jeremy Simpson. He is survived by: his sisters, Daphne C. McBride (James "Jim" McBride) and Emily C. Simpson (James Fredrick Simpson IV); his siblings' children, Jimmy McBride (Patti) and Tonya Robles (Mike); and his niece-in-law Jennifer Simpson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Atkinson Cemetery (15800 NC-53, Atkinson, NC 28421).
